Granville Island Water Park

The Granville Island Water Park is a popular family-friendly destination located in the heart of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The water park is open seasonally from late May to early September and offers free admission to visitors of all ages.

The water park features a range of splash pads, water sprays, geysers, and other interactive water features that are designed to keep children entertained and cooled off on hot summer days. The water park is divided into two main areas: one for younger children and another for older children and adults. The area for younger children features smaller, gentler water features and is surrounded by a fence to provide a safe and secure play environment. The area for older children and adults features more dynamic water features, including water cannons and a large dumping bucket.

In addition to the water features, the water park also offers plenty of shaded areas, seating, and picnic tables where visitors can relax and enjoy a snack or picnic lunch. There are also changing rooms and washrooms available on site.

The Granville Island Water Park is a popular destination for families with young children, and it is often busy during peak summer months. However, the water park's central location and free admission make it a great place to visit for locals and tourists alike.

Granville Island Water Park, North America's largest free water and spray park, is the largest kids' water park in Vancouver. Any child old enough to walk or toddle will have a great time at the Granville Island Water Park with its water slide, spouting geysers, and water pipes. Make sure the youngsters are wearing shoes that can get wet because the grounds are cement.

Due to the Granville Island Water Park's location on the island, families can easily fill a full day with activities such as touring the crowded Kids Market and Granville Island Public Market, taking the Aquabus, or strolling or bicycling east along the seawall (Island Park Walk) for stunning views of the downtown core.
