Grouse Mountain
One of the Pacific Ranges' North Shore Mountains, Grouse Mountain is located in Canada's District Municipality of North Vancouver. With four chairlifts serving 33 slopes at a peak elevation of nearly 1,200m (4,100ft), the mountain is home to Grouse Mountain Resort, an alpine ski area with a view of Metro Vancouver. A beautiful chairlift ride, lumberjack shows, tandem paragliding, helicopter excursions, guided ecowalks, mountain biking, zip line, and lumberjack shows are all available at Grouse Mountain Resort throughout the summer months. A 100-seat mountaintop theatre and a wildlife preserve are open all year round. The mountain has two aerial tramways that go by the name "Skyride."
