Rogers Arena tour Vancouver, In the heart of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, at 800 Griffiths Way, there is a multipurpose arena called Rogers Arena. General Motors Place (GM Place) was the name of the arena when it first opened in 1995. However, on July 6, 2010, General Motors Canada discontinued its sponsorship of the naming rights, and a new arrangement for those rights was made with Rogers Communications. Because Vancouver and Toronto received expansion clubs for the National Basketball Association (NBA1995 )'s expansion into Canada, Rogers Arena was constructed to take the role of Pacific Coliseum as Vancouver's main indoor sports arena.

The National Lacrosse League's Vancouver Warriors, the Overwatch League's Vancouver Titans, and the National Hockey League's Vancouver Canucks all call it home. The 2010 Winter Olympics' ice hockey competitions were again held at this venue. During the Olympics, the arena's name was briefly changed to Canada Hockey Place. From 1995 to 2001, it served as the NBA team Vancouver Grizzlies' home arena. Before moving to Memphis for the 2001–02 season, the Grizzlies played six seasons in Vancouver.
