This morning, visit the famous Buddhism shrine, Jade Buddha Temple, located in the bustling city of Shanghai. It is named for its two bejeweled white jade Buddha. Carved from a whole piece of white jade, the sitting jade Buddha statue is translucent with a solemn expression, displaying the excellent skill and extraordinary art of the Chinese people. Later, visit the Yuyuan Garden which has many scenic courtyards decorated with baroque rockery, pools, and flora that are all connected by corridors and passageways.
