The tourist eVisa is online through the official Visit Saudi portal. It is not a work visa, residence permit, or universal replacement for the current Umrah/pilgrimage process.
The official portal displays the live total at payment, including the application fee, VAT, and any required insurance. Budget approximately CAD $200–$250 equivalent until the portal calculates the exact amount; fees can change.
Many online decisions are quick, but allow several working days and extra time for peak Ramadan, Hajj-season controls, verification, or payment issues.
Apply online through the official Saudi eVisa portal from BC. There is normally no BLS Vancouver appointment for the tourist eVisa, but religious travel may require the official Nusuk or authorised package route.
The official Visit Saudi terms describe a one-year, multiple-entry eVisa with a maximum stay of three months unless the issued visa states otherwise. Read the grant and current entry rules before departure.
Applying for the wrong purpose, using a passport with insufficient validity, overlooking insurance or seasonal religious controls, and assuming payment guarantees approval are frequent problems.
